Dave, You Were Right
A Separation.
Incredible. I remember regretting not seeing it in the theater, despite the fact that it seemed to be around at the Lagoon for months - another sure sign it was going to be solid.
FINALLY watched it. Just fantastic. The acting is really something, every single character is spot on. So many loaded scenes, but such a simple story, really. Check it out.

Important Lessons, with David Valento
First of all: Goddamn son of a bitch. More on that in a minute.
I'm at Kinko's getting a booklet printed out for class. End of the year project, we all made "leave behinds" which is an object you can leave behind at an interview. I made a quote book with pictures I have taken:
You are all getting one. Kinko's did not have any fancy binding options so I figure what you could do is cut two out and have mom frame them. You can see that there's a quote (there's 10 total) and then the left side Minnesota mirror image is filled with a picture I have taken in the last year (this particular one is from last fall). The color clearly bled over too much, my teacher was helping me with it and said it would be fine so whatever. And on top of that "whatever" is another "God Fucking Damnit Oh Well Whatever" because of this:
Nice picture I took eh? Cool quote? Notice anything wrong with the quote? I'll give you a clue: WERNER HERZOG DIDN'T SAY THAT. This is an Abraham Lincoln quote. Goddamnit. I just noticed it. I fixed this in class but it clearly didn't save. I already spent too much money getting these things printed, but I guess I'm going to have to spend another $10 getting one more printed with the correct goddamn person quoted. Anyway.
Kinko's also had this greeting card:
And you know I feel like I already came up with this idea (sort of) with my MS Paint pic from oh so long ago:
I guess not really but also really I already came up with this idea KINKO'S.
Okay, I'm going to go check out this huge park way up north. I finished Dracula. It was pretty good, worth reading, can definitely see how it has remained so popular. Now I am onto:
That is all.
P.S. - After Kinko's I went to GNC to pick up a few energy bars for my hike out to this park. There is a really, really good looking girl that works there and boy did I try like five or six jokes on her only to receive a stone face in reply. She was pregnant though, so I blame her future kid

Read This, Ya Bishes
For those of you who still read books - Bud and Dave - you definitely gotta check this one out. I laughed out loud many a time, really didn't want it to end. The narrator has Tourettes and it's told from the 1st person. It's really brilliant. Lethem has a zany, hilarious voice that is also sensitive and very insightful. And in this one he takes the detective story paradigm and turns it on its head. Haven't read any other Lethem, but I hear the one to read in addition to Motherless Brooklyn is Fortress of Solitude:
I finished it and moved onto:

High Score...THE High Score?
Has anyone else cracked 400 yet? Pretty proud of myself. All the hard work I've worked, all of the sweat I've sweated, the blood I've bledded, it all paid off.

I Am a Member
The Dollar Shave Club. Oh, it's on.
And since I don't shave very often, I opted for the 6 bucks every OTHER month, for 4 different cartridges. That's about, oh, less than 20% of what Gillette charges. Fuck you Gillette, you took way too much of my money.
Dave, ya feel me?
